- Houston Block Party
A few weekends ago, I walked over to the Westheimer block party with a friend and her daughter. I had never been before, but thought it would be the perfect opportunity to take some “just for me” photos.
First stop was at Numbers where we sat and watched our first band play. True to form, I [...]
- Bazaar Dance Moves
Recently, I was invited to watch my newest little friend, Jessica dance at a church bazaar. You may remember seeing the photos I took of her in her cute little ballet costume not long ago. What was pink and purple, is now neon green.
Here is Jessica moments before the show started. Her mom found us [...]
- All I really want for my birthday is cake.
…And I will choose the recipe from your fancy cake book with no illustrations of brightly-colored icing to guide me.

These are some photos I took of the little girl [...]

-
I spent the first part of my birthday assisting Sarah with an engagement session at Minute Maid Park. It involved lots of walking, climbing stairs, and fighting the wind with a huge diffuser, but I can’t imagine what else I would have been doing on a boring old Tuesday!
As you can see in the photos, [...]
- Scenic Sunday
A few Sundays ago, Jenny and I took the Metro rail downtown to have breakfast and go sightseeing. We walked up this block, and down that one, marveling at all the places that are, and always have been, just a few minutes away from our little section of the city.
P.S. The sky was really that [...]
- Vanishing America
This is my new friend, Holt Webb looking very laid back in his Winnebago which was parked just off the I10 freeway in Baytown, TX. Holt (along with his two kitties and massive free weights) plans to travel the country as part of his project, Vanishing America. You can check out his travel log here.
He [...]
