Sweetie
Today’s blog post features a pet portrait session I did with Sweetie, using a simple black paper background. This is a great reminder to all of you, that using your living room or backyard as a backdrop isn’t the only option.
Notice how the black actually appears gray or charcoal. For added interest, I pointed a flash directly at the paper which creates separation between my subject and the background. Otherwise, Sweetie would have been lost in all the black.
This is one of my favorites. Her coloring is perfect for split toning.
A quick trip outside to smell what she could smell.
