Draco

My last portrait session of the year was with a Great Dane named Draco. Draco, means “dragon” and is also the name of a constellation.

For me, Draco meant very large dog with paws the size of tennis balls. Despite his size, he is still considered a puppy and only after he broke free of his leash and ran in giant circles on the lawn — too scared to run very far from us — was I convinced of this. His owner, Margaret, is sweet and patient with him and watching the two interact is very cute. Such a nice way to end the year!
