Wedding Bells and Incense

Here are some detail shots from Saturday’s wedding. The bride and groom celebrated with two ceremonies…One Hindu and one Christian.

Sarah and I were crouched in the space between the front row and the stage which at one point, we shared with two videographers. We were literally sitting at the guests feet, crawling over each other to get the shots we wanted. Then we headed across the street to cover the second ceremony.

Sarah was nice enough to let me take off around 7:00 pm since she hired another photographer to help cover the reception. I was beat and my batteries were dead. It was time to go home and have a hot bath. Although Sarah would not be so lucky. She worked a whopping 11 hours(!) and I hope at some point she was able to put down her camera and just SIT for a few minutes.

I like this photo because it shows the adult signing the guest book while the little boy gets down to the business of opening a candy.
