Big Town, Little Town

We drove to Austin this weekend and took highway 290 home for a change of scenery. It was fun stopping in the little towns along the way. I think I got a lot of fun shots even though I didn’t fill up a single memory card.

Austin:

These are some photos I took of the little girl sitting next to us in the restaurant. Isn’t she the cutest ever??

After lunch we took a walk down Congress.

We ate in Churchill, TX, but I didn’t take any photos there. Just imagine a cute and kitschy cafe with red and white checkered table clothes and waitresses with big hair. I had chicken-fried steak and Jenny had chicken strips. After “supper” we went next door to the General store and bought water and a pecan log roll. Log rolls are a close second to donuts in my book.
